Richard Strauss „Lieder für Sopran und Orchester“, Gustav Mahler‘s Symphony No. 4 Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, Gelsenkirchen, 5 November 2018

„The wonderful concert with world-class soprano Anne Schwanewilms permitted the encounter with a beguiling, versatile and luminous voice with a velvet timbre. (…) The soprano appeared to change register without any effort, her voice sounds lustrous in the hights and very warm in the middle register. She does not need big operatic gestures to cast a spell on the audience.“

Elisabeth Höving, WAZ Westfälische Allgemeine Zeitung, 7 November 2018

„She presented a whole bunch of Lieder by Richard Strauss to the jubilating audience. (…) In these miniatures Anne Schwanewilms unfolds the particular charm of her voice: the entrancing and detailed phrasing, the profund knowlege of the language, (…) the weightless swaying of the legato and the magic of a fascinating art of expression.“

Bernd Aulich, Recklinghäuser Zeitung, 7 November 2018
